Liberty Field Hockey Field
Serving as the home field for Liberty’s field hockey program, Liberty Field Hockey Field opened on Sept. 3, 2011, when the Lady Flames hosted Radford for the first game in program history.
The Poligras OLYMPIA COOLPLUS turf system is a water-based surface which is preferred for field hockey competition.
Six water cannons surround the field for complete coverage. Four cannons are mounted beyond each corner of the field, while two more cannons emerge at each side of midfield.
A blue turf outlines the field, while the word “Liberty” marks the final detail on the sideline.
Liberty Lacrosse Field
After competing at Liberty’s Osborne Stadium during the program’s first two seasons, the Liberty lacrosse program now calls Liberty Lacrosse Field its home. The Lady Flames hosted No. 3 ranked North Carolina to open the facility, on Feb. 15, 2012.
The surface features the Shaw Sportexe® PowerBlade™ HP+2.0 Monofilament Synthetic Turf System and has lines for both lacrosse and soccer competition.
The Liberty Lacrosse Complex features two synthetic turf fields recently replaced in November 2016, as well as a team clubhouse including locker rooms, a team room equipped with a full kitchen, a players’ lounge, and the coaches’ offices.
