Flames Nation will have their first chance to preview the 2023 season and get a look at Liberty’s football team under new head coach Jamey Chadwell on April 15.

The Flames will host their annual Spring Football Game on Saturday, April 15 at Williams Stadium. The event is free to the public. Gates open at 12:30 p.m., with the scrimmage set to begin at 1:30 p.m.

Fans are encouraged to arrive early for giveaways, while also having the opportunity to watch the Spring Football Game from field level in the South end zone.

All the enjoyable elements that Flames fans experience inside the Flames Fan Fest on a Liberty home football game day will be located in the South end zone throughout the afternoon.

Following the scrimmage, Chadwell, along with Liberty’s entire football team and Sparky, will be available for autographs and photos.

Additionally, the Liberty Flames Sports Network will be doing a live audio broadcast from the scrimmage. The hour-long broadcast starts at 2 p.m. and can be heard by clicking on the following link.

Come out to Williams Stadium on Saturday, April 15 to watch the Flames prepare for their inaugural season in Conference USA. Liberty’s first home game in 2023 is set for Saturday, September 2 against Bowling Green.
