With its annual spring practice session winding down, the Flames took the field just twice this week with practices No. 11 and 12 of their offseason workouts.

The Flames practiced on Monday and Tuesday of this week and will have the upcoming weekend off to celebrate the Easter holiday.

Following the Easter weekend holiday, the Flames will return to the practice field twice next week before its annual spring game. Liberty will hold weekday practices on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, with both practice sessions being closed to the public.

Prior to practice on Tuesday earlier this week, the local media continued their coverage of the Flames’ spring practice sessions by talking with the following coaches and players:
• Passing Game Coordinator/Wide Receiver Coach Tony Washington
• Running back Vaughn Blue

Flames Central also followed Coach Cody Ladutko and the Flames tight ends for another mic’d up segment during practice this week.

The Flames will cap off their spring practice season with Liberty’s annual Spring Football Game on Saturday, April 15. This event is free and open to the public and gets underway at 1:30 p.m. inside Williams Stadium.
