Liberty forward Luke Eberle and midfielder Marko Mitrevski have been selected to the 2022 VaSID All-State University men’s soccer team. Voted on by Virginia Sports Information Directors members, Eberle and Mitrevski were each named to the first team.

Eberle receives his first all-state honor. The sophomore was named to the 2022 ASUN All-Conference team this past fall, posting career highs with six goals and 14 points. He also had two assists. The sophomore played in all 15 Liberty contests while starting 14 matches.

Eberle completed the season tied for the Liberty lead in goals and was second on the team in points. He tied for fifth in the ASUN in goals and seventh in the conference in points. The Arnold, Md., native was named to the ASUN Men’s Soccer All-Academic team and College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors in 2022.

Mitrevski receives his third all-state honor. The midfielder was selected to the all-state first team for the Spring 2021 season and the all-state second team for the Fall 2021 season.  

This past fall, the senior was named the ASUN All-Conference second team, his third ASUN All-Conference selection. The midfielder previously garnered 2022 Spring and 2022 Fall ASUN Conference first teams honors.

Mitrevski set career highs for points, goals and assists in his final season in a Liberty uniform. The senior led the Flames with 16 points, tying for the team lead with six goals and adding a team-leading four assists. He finished the season tied for fourth in the ASUN in points, fifth in goals, and sixth in assists in the conference.
